Love At First Sight /

Love at First Sight is described as an emotional situation whereby a person feels romantic attraction for a stranger upon their first encounter. It can also refer to a mere sexual attraction or lust, but it usually refers to actually falling in love with someone literally the very first time one sees him or her, along with the deep desire to have an intimate relationship with that person.

The stranger does not necessarily have to even know that the other person exists and may be completely unaware of their presence.

However two people can experience this phenomenon towards each other at the same time, usually when their eyes meet.

Love at first sight, although considered an overtly romantic fantasy, can and does exist. There are probably thousands of examples of couples who have been together all their lives following a love at first sight encounter. This is part of the reason why a phenomenon like love at first sight is so hard to disprove. The reality is that love at first sight can exist providing both parties want it to exist badly enough.

Love at first sight cannot be forced or provoked, it will naturally occur between too people, usually completely unaware of their mutually strong feelings for one another. This can occur between two complete strangers or between two friends who have not been able to express their feelings towards one another. Their friendship is usually not taken to the next level because of an outside influence, such as an ongoing relationship, or simply out of fear of rejection.

The latter is usually a feeling felt by both parties, who only discover that all the while their love for the other person is shared, when one party makes a bold step towards showing their love.

When Love at first sight does occur between two people, they tend to go on to continue a very long and happy relationship with one another. Whether or not this is because of their mutual desire to be with the other person, and therefore their willingness to do anything they can to sustain the relationship is not clear, but what is clear is that an unbreakable bond seems to remain.
