Even those of us lucky enough to consider ourselves relationship experts have to admit that meeting the right person in today’s busy environment can be an extremely difficult challenge.

It is often difficult to tell if you are sending out the right signals to prospective date and is equally as difficult to judge if you are decoding the signals you are receiving in the right way. Sometimes our minds can play tricks on us when we want something so bad and we can interpret things in a disastrous way.

Isn’t it strange how when we are not looking for someone, we will be inundated with offers. Why is this? Could it be because of the signals we are sending out at that time. Quite possibly. So lets look deeper.

When we are not looking for a relationship we send out signals displaying our lack of interest, our comfort with the situation our “not a care in the World attitude”. And yet offers fall at our feet. There is a very good reason for this, we are displaying attractive qualities. Confidence being the major one. People are also generally looking for at least a bit of a challenge, and if you look like you don’t need the business, people will want to give you there business!

So, just remember this next time you go out. When we want something too much we can send out the wrong signals, desperation being the worst, so just be cool and take it all in your stride.
