Dating Tips to Improve Confidence /
If you’ve recently come out of a relationship, or been single for some time, chances are your confidence will have taken a bit of knock somewhere along the line. Follow these simple bits of advice to help you get your confidence back
- Firstly, decide whether you are truly comfortable and happy with the concept of dating. If you really feel like you need more time to get over your previous partner, or you have any other hang ups then you’ll need to work these out before involving a new person in your life.
- If you are not confident, make a list of the things you are not comfortable with about yourself. If you can, be brutally honest.
- Establish the things you think others may not like about you, maybe ask a close friend for a second opinion to help if you struggle with this.
- Start by addressing the way you look and the way you dress. Do you need to spend some quality time on your appearance? Having that shave that you’ve been putting off could really help your chances of attracting a new interest.
- Start by making a few small changes. Change the easiest things first and hopefully the hard changes won’t seem so daunting.
- Exercise. I know it sounds like a great deal of effort to go to find a new partner, but this one is to benefit yourself primarily. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins. This is your body’s natural mood elevator and stress reliever and it works as an excellent confidence booster.
