Dating Rules /

There are a few things that must be remembered when starting down the dating route that if you haven’t dated for a little while you’ve probably forgot. Simple things that, if avoided, can prevent you from making the same mistakes that may have previously held you back. When we are young we are surrounded by our peers whether it be at college or university, reinforcing the correct dating protocol.

We are constantly reminded of the correct way to behave, the right things to say or do in almost every situation. And we continue to follow these rules into later life. Wellfor a short period of time anyway.  Over the years we use the rules in every meeting with the opposite sex that we have. But then inevitably we meet someone, or get into a relationship and over the coming weeks, months, years etc, we seem to forget those important little rules to remember.

Luckily datingwizard.com is here to help, so to jog your memory, consult the list below.

1. Never, ever , ever, be late for a date. Especially if you are a man. A woman should never be kept waiting and should definitely never be seated alone.

2. Don’t get drunk on a date. You may think you need a dink to build up some courage, but it will affect your behaviour and may cloud your judgement.  After all you are trying to make a good first impression, aren’t you?

3. ...First impressions count. It’s true what they say, you only get one chance to make a good first impression. There is more on this on the following page...

4. Keep the conversation light. Steer well clear of sensational subjects such as religion, politics, abortion etc.

5. Don’t scare your date away. You may well be ready to settle down, get married and have children, but this is never a subject that should be considered on a first date.

6. Be honest. There is a lot to be said for telling the truth. Lies soon have a habit of unravelling so if you are asked a question, be truthful and honest. You will earn far more respect in the long run.
