Uxbridge is in the borough of Hillingdon in West London and is a University town (Brunel)n with a population of approximately 65,000. Uxbridge is also well known for being used as a filming location for a number of parts in adverts, films and television programmes including A Clockwork Orange, The Sweeney, Extras and Press Gang. Randall’s Department Store has been given Grade II Listed status due to its art-deco features. It is owned by John Randall’s family – he is the local Conservative MP.
